After the critical disappointment that was Thor: The Dark World, Thor seemed like the underdog franchise of the Marvel Universe. What did Marvel do to fix it? Hire Taika Waititi, a primarily comedic director and crank the scale up a couple hundred notches. This is the funniest Marvel movie to date with Jeff Goldblums' character being a standout. I think this is also the best Marvel movie ever made. Mark Ruffalo's Hulk is a out of control toddler with super strength. This is the best way to portray this character and I really want Universal to allow Marvel to make a full-length Hulk film. It references so much from past movies in the MCU to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It is a fact paced ride for the entirety of the film and I highly recommend it.
