Rampage Movie Review

This is an odd movie. Not because it has giant animals tearing up Chicago. It’s because of its three acts being so different from each other. It's like the studio didn't know what Rampage script to use, so they just took a third from each of them and shoved it together. The first act is what you see in the trailers. Bad jokes and people marveling at Dwayne Johnson's muscles. Like a Journey 2. The second act is a spy thriller in the vain of Mission Impossible. There is a lot of sneaking around and pulling reasonable stunts. Then the third act dosen't give a single shit and gives Dwayne invincibility powers and tells him to fight giant monsters. He dosen't have a mech. He dosen't have a tank. He dosen't have a plane. It's just Dwayne Johnson fighting three Godzillas at once and jumping out of windows while he does so. This was my favorite part of the movie. The villans are awful. They halt the movie several times to shove their awkward banter in our earholes. By far the worst part of the movie.
